Musaliar College of Engineering and Technology ,Pathanamthitta hosting the 4th version of magnanimous intercollege techno- cultural fest Avishkar on 2015 march 12 & 13. The futuristic vision of the college comes alive at AVISHKAR which is the amalgamation of talent & resources of the students of five specialized arms of engineering at #MCET, Pathanamthitta. The name AVISHKAR is borrowed from Sanskrit & it conveys the #CREATION of future. The fest has earned a name for itself over a course of years. With an interesting blend of events that would put the brains and souls to stir & it promises to be an alluring prospect for more than 4000 students. The fest includes technological events under every department in the college, general events that tested their mettle & managerial skills, online events – for those who can’t participate directly & interesting workshops on every branch of engineering. The two day fest turned out to be a cherishing & inspiring experience for everyone who were a part of it and for MUSALIARites, it’s truly a matter of pride and honor.
AVISHKAR made a small beginning with less than ten colleges participating; however through the years AVISHKAR has matured to become one of the most eagerly awaited cultural festivals in MG University, with participants in hundreds and audience in thousands. AVISHKAR is arguably the largest festival organized in the University.
This goodwill and bonhomie that AVISHKAR enjoys has been built over decades and can only be attributed to the selfless hard work of the students.
With the approach of the latest edition of AVISHKAR, one cannot help but admire the spirit of euphoria that this festival has come to embody. Come what may, the underlying spirit has triumphed even under the most trying circumstances.
AVISHKAR has ably reflected the change in times, and has kept adding various competitions to its portfolio. Participants have the option of choosing from a variety of events, ranging from literary and musical events, to the contemporary fashion shows and choreography competitions.
AVISHKAR has come to embody the spirit of Musaliar College Of Engineering and Technology.
So take the stage with us and lose yourself in the hectic frenzy of celebrations! We assure you that AVISHKAR this year will attempt to blend the history with the future.
It will see the amalgamation of the glorious past of MCET along with the changes over these years and the present day MCET in its true avatar!!
